Louis "Pud" Melius

Pud was a player, coach, volunteer, fund-raiser and board member for Winthrop’s baseball program. He is a former Ara Wilson League president and helped Winthrop to get new lights for its field. Pud is also the former mayor of Winthrop. Pud’s involvement in youth baseball continues on two fronts: he is a member of the Winthrop Legion and VFW posts which help fund local programs and he is an ardent fan as he watches his grandsons play.
