Alan “Corky” Gothmann

Corky Gothmann played at St. Bonifacious from 1947-65, then coached youth baseball there from 1966-73 before taking over as manager of the amateur team in 1976. He helped out in a variety of ways until 1993, leading St. Bonifacious to the 1984 and ’89 state tournaments. During his time as manager, Corky was also the grounds crew, the concessions director, and could often be seen taking tickets at home games.
