On September 30, 2000 the membership of the corporation approved and adopted a resolution establishing the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Endowment Fund to receive gifts such as: cash, real and personal property, insurance proceeds, stock and bonds, mutual funds, retirement plans, life insurance proceeds and other types of gifts.

 
     
   
     
 

WHEREAS, The Minnesota Amateur baseball Hall of Fame Inc. (hereinafter referred to as MABHF) was organized and established as a Minnesota non-profit corporation on August 15, 1986 pursuant to Chapter 317A Laws of Minnesota.

WHEREAS, The purposes for which MABHF was organized and incorporated are set forth in its Articles of Incorporation a follows, to wit: The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposed within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

 
     
   
     
 

Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame recognizes the need and importance to create a perpetual source of income that will ensure the continued operation in the future.

The Endowment Fund Committee invites and encourages members of the MABHF, friends of Minnesota baseball, including any individual, firm, corporation or veterans, organization desiring to assist in furthering the objectives of the MABHF and Museum to now consider making a gift to the Endowment Fund. The committee and its professional advisors will work with donors and their tax consultants and legal counsel to structure gifts that benefit the MABHF while providing income and estate tax benefits to the donor. Gifts of all sizes and in many forms are welcomed.
